Something rather modern stirs in the People’s Republic – an enterprising local pharmacy company has taken the effort out of getting repeat medications.
I can’t say whether the service is any good yet – I’ve only just filed my first request – but toddling along to www.myrepeats.com soon showed me that I no longer had to find the tear-off form from my last prescription and then post it in. Neither did I have to collect the prescription and/or the dispensed stuff.
Having registered and entered the details of my repeat prescription, I clicked and sat back. My dispensed medicines are being delivered free next Wednesday. You can check the site for all the details of the workings of the service, if you’re interested.
If MyRepeats works, I’m going to be a regular.
Update (27th March): Yesterday, the delivery arrived as arranged. It’s a goer.
